On a beautiful day and at a great looking ground at Crowmarsh Henley won the toss and asked Kidmore End to bat first.
All the Henley bowlers bowled well and managed to contain the Kidmore team, however a huge shout out to 13 yo Josh Ellison who claimed a hatrick (all bowled) which helped Henley restrict Kidmore to 94 runs. Josh finished with 4-14 and a special mention to Charlie Hughes for 2-15. Eddie Martin made a good catch to help remove Kidmore captain Will Nassau-Lake.
The Henley innings started well with Shukri Shakoor hitting some early boundaries, however it was Noah Thurgood (Kidmore) that was stealing the headlines with figures of 4-19, leaving Henley in tatters at 40-5. However, some lusty blows from Kit Davies (18) set up Matt Nebbett and Charlie Hughes to get the runs required to win the game for Henley.
